KANSAS CITY, Kan.—The Iron Man Challenge will invade the Lakeside Speedway this Friday, April 11, with both USRA Stock Cars and USRA B-Mods in action at the historic 4/10-mile clay oval.

USMTS Modifieds will be headlining the show, giving race fans three great classes of non-stop action to fill the program. Lakeside Speedway’s Grand National division will round out the four-class card.

The winner of the USRA Stock Car main event will pocket $750 with each driver taking the green flag getting no less than $100. USRA B-Mods will be battling for a top prize of $600 and $75 to start.

With one race in the books, Tom Schmitt of Independence, Iowa, sits atop the USRA Stock Car points entering Friday’s event. On the strength of his season-opening victory and three additional top-five finishes, Logan Martin of West Plains, Mo., leads the standings in the USRA B-Mod class.

Entry fees for the USRA Stock Cars are $25 for licensed or $35 for non-licensed driver each night. Entry fees for the USRA B-Mods are $20 for licensed or $30 for non-licensed. In addition to earning valuable points toward the Iron Man Challenge championship, drivers in both classes will also earn national points in the USRA Weekly Racing Series.

Adult tickets are $18, kids ages 7 to 12 are $6 and children ages 6 and under get in for free. Suite tickets are $25 and pit passes are $35. Pit gates open at 4:30, grandstand gates open at 5:00, hot laps are at 7:00 and racing gets underway at 7:30.
