Mississippi Thunder Speedway introduces JPfoto as Official Photographer for 2014

FOUNTAIN CITY, Wis. -- Mississippi Thunder Speedway is excited to welcome Jordan Potter and his JPfoto as the official Mississippi Thunder Speedway Track Photographer for the 2014 season.

"Jordan has shown a keen eye and an artistic ability to capture a wide variety of photo opportunities during his previous visits to the track," said speedway owner Bob Timm, "I'm excited to see what he can do for racers, fans and media representatives who are looking for a visual view of what we enjoy every race night at MTS."

Potter will start his run as the 2014 MTS Track Photographer by being on hand at the sixth annual car show and swap meet scheduled for April 19 at Sugar Loaf Ford in Winona, Minn.

Potter has mentioned that he's looking forward to capturing both the "on-track action" as it unfolds at the West Central Wisconsin dirt track as well as the related views he spies around the racing compound.

"I love photos that really convey the speed we see while the racing is unfolding on the track", said Potter. "But I also enjoy those non-speed photos that I capture away from the racing surface. Fans cheering, pit crew members working, driver's focusing ... those types of images really show the 'behind the scenes' developments that some race fans or members of media may not get to see."

Potter's work will be available via his Tumblr site: http://jpfoto.tumblr.com.
